Are
you living in defeat or victory?
This is the vital question we must ask ourselves on a daily
basis to be sure we are focused on God’s purpose and plan of our lives. It is so important to remember
that as Christians, God has called us to be successful in every area of our life. This is impossible without
God, but because of His promise we can live a successful life;
“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more
abundantly.”
John 10:10 (NJKV)
We are to be the light that shines wherever we
go...
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your
good
works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 (NJKV)
The life and light that are surrendered to the will of God will
shine and always live in victory! No matter how dark or difficult the situation He permits us to
go through, God will find a way to teach us to get through without compromising the truth of His word.
“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God
is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way
of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” I Corinthians 10:13 (NJKV)
The apostle Paul says it with total
conviction in the beginning of his letter to the Romans.
“For
I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…”
vs.16
Clearly in the word of God it says “for everyone
who believes, it is the power” A power which equals victory in the life of a believer!
The world is starving to see and know that
there is a better way to live. God has chosen us to fulfill that need by living and sharing the principals
set forth in Scripture. It is vitally important to joy in our journey with the Lord as we eat and drink
from His word, apply it in His strength and share it in His wisdom.
“And
He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is
baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those
who believe; Inn My mane they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they
drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Mark 16:15-18
NOTHING in this world defeats the Christian that is
living wholeheartedly for Christ. We are protected by the Almighty and that spells VICTORY!
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye.”
Psalm 32:8 (NKJV)
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power
and of love and of a sound mind.”
2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
Surrender your life to Christ today. Repent of your sins,
receive forgiveness and start a journey that will blow your mind as you let your new light shine and glorify our God who is
in heaven
