THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND GENEROSITY TOWARDS THIS PROJECT! MAY OUR AWESOME GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY!
The Lord has blessed us beyond measure with almost 4 acres of beautiful land and we want it to be a continual source of encouragement and blessing to others by creating a special place via a prayer garden. We began this journey in 2007 and it continues to GROW beautifully every year!
A little history...Shortly after we moved into our home in the winter of 2005, I remember walking around the land for the first time with my then 10 year old son, asking God to prosper this land and the surrounding land so that countless others would come and experience what we were experiencing; the breathtaking evidence of God at work through creation. We truly believe the more time we take to enjoy the gift of nature and all that God has artistically created within it, we'll become enabled to experience His profound love for each of us. When His love is experienced, we become motivated to live life to its fullest.
Every time we walked on our land, day or night, we would see and enjoy the gift of wildlife and beauty that surrounded us. Countless times we prayed as a family for God's purpose to be done on our land and prosper the work we were sent to do here.
In 2007 the idea of Extraordinary Life Ministry 'Because in Christ life is Extraordinary!' was birthed and in 2009 the Prayer Garden Initiative took root and has been our central focus because it continues to bless so many. Also in 2009 Maria discovered her gift in photography and has used this gift to encourage countless others as well as support and grow the gardens. Since her discovery, thousands of photos with Scripture have been given away to many including missionaries to be a source of hope and empowerment to others.
In 2012 Maria's Gift was launched online www.mariasgift.net and a gift shop was established to support Extraordinary Life Ministries projects and continue this life-giving ministry.
Maria says, "As the years go by the desire to see the prayer garden grow, profoundly increases my zeal, perseverance, and steadfastness in it, to see it come to total fruition, because I know this work is of God. My list of goals is extensive, (list) but doable with the Lord's energy and provision, for I believe, we are still in the first phase of all that He will do. God calls us to be patient...not easy...but possible." "Be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10
